Welcome to Go Back to House Crew!.

What really happens behind the scenes?

Pranks, headset conversations, backstage hijinks, onstage hijinks, inept actors, tech week, conferences, impossible directors and long nights. This is technical theatre.

Updates are sporadic and unpredictable- think of it as a treasure hunt!

I'm really bad at this whole "consistently updating comics" thing.

Maybe one of these days I'll get better about that.

I hate to keep updating the news feed with more "sorry, no comic" type posts, but I'm doing it again.

I just want everyone to know that I've been struggling a lot with art, among other things, for quite some time now. I'm hoping that with the help I am now getting that I can get back on my feet and continue to update the webcomic soon. I by no means intend on abandoning GBtHC! but I need a little more time. Once I'm in the right state, comics will resume (I have several scripts right now, so I'll have plenty of material to return to once I can bring myself to do it).

I'm also moving this Sunday, so I've been busy arranging that too. I'm hoping the new environment will help with some of the issues I've been having. Fingers crossed.

Has it really been (almost) five months since I've updated?

Fuck me. I suck.

Thanks to some epic backstage fail during the recent weeks, I think I've got the spark back for proper comicing (I've decided that's a verb now, kthnx). No guarantees they'll all be purtified in PhotoShop, but damnit I'm going to post SOMETHING soon.

Still Waiting

Just wanted to update the news feed and let you all know the deal:

I have a couple of comics waiting in the wings (Hah! Lookit, I made a theatre reference!), but at the present I simply do not have the time to draw them out, much less edit them in photoshop.
The show I'm working is fast approaching and I'll be in tech soon, which means right now I'm working on hang cards and cable plans and all sorts of things.

I believe I've managed to slay my artists' block, so I'm hoping once life settles down some I'll be able to churn out some comics.

Drawing hasn't been happening lately.

Apologies for the lack of comics.

My winter break ended up being a lot busier than I had anticipated: between intercession classes (ten weeks worth of class crammed into two weeks), Christmas, and last minute train trips to Ohio, I didn't have time to draw.

It seems the past several months I've been having trouble with art in general: much less the comics. Maybe it's artists' block, or depression, or a combination of both, but I haven't been motivated to create like I used to. I'm sure this will pass in due time, but I can't bring myself to draw if it doesn't make me happy, which has been the case lately.

I appreciate the understanding, hopefully I haven't lost any readers just because of my epic suck.
