Author's Comments:
A mockery of my Principles of Design project.
We read a story about Daedalus and his son Icarus (http://www.pantheon.org/articles/d/daedalus.html ) and were then assigned to choose a conflict from the story and had to illustrate it.
I choose Daedalus being thrown into his labyrinth.
He is, in a way, enslaved to his own creation, and must choose to accept this or take control of the situation and escape.
